This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute on-site installation of systems and equipment, along with ongoing preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration following the installation.
• Supervise outage crews, which may include crafts, union technicians, and onsite service teams.
• Address requests for emergency repairs and services related to malfunctioning equipment.
• Offer technical guidance and support to customer representatives concerning installation, operation, calibration, repair, and maintenance at customer locations.
• Carry out administrative tasks such as writing technical reports, ordering materials, obtaining quotations, preparing job status updates, and maintaining time and expense reports accurately and promptly.
• Enhance customer satisfaction through a dedication to quality service.
• Uphold a strong safety mindset to ensure that the executed work meets the technical requirements in alignment with GE Vernova safety standards.
• Possess the knowledge to troubleshoot and conduct routine maintenance checks for a diverse range of equipment models.
• Prepare timely and precise technical reports for customer records and as a reference for future outages.
• Confirm that all necessary parts for the job are dispatched to the site.
• Conduct walk-downs during installation to verify that the customer’s contractors are executing their tasks correctly.
• Implement aftermarket upgrades that need to be executed at the site level.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution, along with 3+ years of pertinent experience in Power Plant Maintenance, Turbine Maintenance, or Power Plant Equipment Installation or Commissioning; alternatively, a High School Diploma with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel 80% annually to and from various projects and field assignments as necessary.
• Capability to acquire and maintain a valid passport.
• Successful completion of required training programs is essential.
