Technical Enablement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee and provide all industry and mechanical engineering training for all new hires within the company.

• Take full responsibility for the discovery and demo certification process for Account Executives from start to finish.

• Develop and sustain the industry fluency curriculum, while also organizing existing technical onboarding materials.

• Conduct live technical coaching sessions for new hires and representatives needing additional support.

• Create a certification renewal process and ensure the curriculum remains up-to-date.

• Manage product training fluency throughout the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or Pre-Sales Engineer with a track record of conducting numerous technical demonstrations.

• A solid background in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, enablement, or product design — you have either worked as a mechanical engineer or engaged in sales and support as a Solutions Engineer in a complex mechanical environment (such as automotive, aerospace, heavy equipment, medical devices, or similar fields).

• Extensive practical knowledge of CAD and PLM tools.

• An inherent talent for teaching and coaching — you can simplify complex ideas for a non-technical audience without being condescending. Formal training experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Experience in building or contributing to technical enablement curricula, rather than just delivering it.

• A collaborative relationship with Product and Product Marketing Management — you view yourself as a connector between the field and the product organization.

• Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), facilitation abilities, and the skill to simplify complex subjects for stakeholder training.
