This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Establish and articulate a clear technical vision, ensuring adherence to best practices in architecture, software development, and cutting-edge technologies.
• Act as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, and senior stakeholders.
• Facilitate discovery workshops, convert business goals into technical strategies, and create customized solution proposals.
• Supervise technical execution to guarantee quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Assess project health, pinpoint risks, and secure successful outcomes through proactive leadership.
• Collaborate with resourcing teams to ensure that suitable talent is allocated to projects.
• Cultivate a culture of excellence, mentorship, and innovation across teams.
• Manage project burn-down, enhance resource allocation, and spot revenue growth opportunities while upholding financial accountability.
• Stay informed on industry trends, contribute to open-source initiatives, and engage in public speaking, blogging, and mentorship.
• Over 15 years of experience in technical leadership, preferably within consulting, SaaS, or extensive digital transformation projects.
• Profound knowledge in software architecture, cloud platforms, and contemporary development practices.
• A proven history of steering technical decisions on intricate, high-impact projects.
• Experience in leading pre-sales, discovery, and solution design discussions.
• Strong capability to convey complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
• A consultative approach, adept at aligning business requirements with technical strategies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills to influence at all levels.
• Practical experience with AI, databases, distributed systems, and modern software engineering best practices.
• Background in leading and mentoring senior software development teams.
