Technical Designer – Talent Pipeline

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Crafting robust gameplay, narrative, and mechanical aspects to deliver a comprehensive gaming experience.

• Developing engaging experiences that challenge norms and offer innovative gameplay.

• Overseeing the execution of key gameplay elements from inception to completion, leveraging expertise in general Blueprint scripting, Sequencer, and other Unreal Engine systems.

• Collaborating closely with design leaders to create and enhance immersive gameplay experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of game design experience within the industry, specifically with Unreal Engine 5 in a design or technical design role.

• Self-driven and proactive in recognizing design and technical challenges, with an openness to seek help when needed.

• Expertise in visual scripting languages, especially UE Blueprints, with at least 2 years of experience.

• Demonstrated ability to produce functional prototypes.

• Excellent communication skills for articulating your vision to other team stakeholders.

• Capability to follow design guidelines and write comprehensive design documentation.

• Proven ability to balance design aspirations with production constraints and meet deadlines.

• Competence in interpreting and incorporating constructive feedback.

• Ability to foresee, identify, and express problem areas while developing solutions.

• Experience working collaboratively in a team setting.

• Proficient in English at a B2 level – both conversationally and in writing.

• Experience as a player/designer with strategy games is advantageous.
