Technical Designer – Talent Pipeline

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Crafting compelling gameplay, narrative, and mechanical elements to deliver a comprehensive gaming experience.

• Creating engaging experiences that challenge the limits and offer innovative gameplay.

• Overseeing the execution of key gameplay elements from inception to completion, employing expertise in general Blueprint scripting, Sequencer, and various UE systems.

• Working collaboratively with design leaders to enhance and fine-tune immersive gameplay experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of game design experience within the industry, specifically with Unreal Engine 5, in either a design or technical design role.

• Self-driven and proactive in recognizing design and technical challenges, with a readiness to seek help when needed.

• Expertise in visual scripting languages, especially UE Blueprints, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

• Demonstrated capability to develop functional prototypes.

• Excellent communication skills for effectively sharing your vision with team stakeholders.

• Ability to follow design guidelines and produce detailed design documentation.

• Skill in balancing ambitious design goals with production limitations while meeting deadlines.

• Competence in interpreting and incorporating constructive feedback.

• Capacity to foresee, identify, and articulate problem areas while formulating solutions.

• Experience collaborating within a team environment.

• B2 level proficiency in English – both conversational and written.

• Experience as a player or designer for strategy games is advantageous.
