Technical Delivery Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

📋 Description

• Take full responsibility for Amazon Connect implementations from initial scoping to go-live.

• Serve as the reliable lead for senior stakeholders at client organizations.

• Collaborate with squad leaders, engineers, and delivery analysts to ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet high-quality standards.

• Oversee multiple projects and clients simultaneously, ensuring that scope, risks, and timelines are effectively managed.

• Contribute to the development of operational practices as the New Zealand squad expands.

• Foster strong partnerships with AWS in New Zealand.

• Assist in establishing and enhancing Contacx's market presence within New Zealand.

• Provide solutions utilizing AWS AI technologies, including both generative and agentic AI.

• Start with the Melbourne squad to learn Contacx's delivery methodology, then aid in the establishment of the New Zealand squad.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in delivering CCaaS implementations (such as Amazon Connect, Genesys, NICE, Five9, or similar) within a consulting context.

• Proven experience in a client-facing and delivery role, managing senior stakeholders effectively.

• A keen interest in AI and the potential of generative and agentic tools to enhance customer experiences.

• Experience managing projects from inception to go-live and beyond, including aspects like scope, timelines, and client satisfaction.

• A strong desire and motivation to contribute to the growth and development of new initiatives.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and flat organizational environment.

• Residing in New Zealand, preferably in or near Auckland, or willing to travel there frequently.
