This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Provide support and guidance to our ClickHouse users, customers, and prospects through various channels including cases, chat, Slack, community interactions, and meetings.
• Create solutions based on ClickHouse Cloud and the open-source version, which can be disseminated to our users, community, and customers through documentation, knowledge bases, blogs, meetups, webinars, and training sessions.
• Collaborate closely with our global Support Services, Engineering, Go to Market, and Product Management teams to help outline the functionalities required by users and customers.
• Contribute to mentoring, training, and sharing your expertise with colleagues, users, and customers.
• Deliver exceptional customer service as the first-line technical engineer and representative of ClickHouse. Our Support Engineers offer professional responses, on-call coverage, and guidance in accordance with the required Service Level Agreements ("SLAs") for technical cases submitted via ticketing systems, email, Slack, chat, and/or phone.
• Establish strong, trusted relationships with colleagues, customers, and partners.
• Possess technical breadth and depth in ClickHouse open-source or Cloud, or in related domains such as SQL databases, OLAP, cloud-native SaaS, distributed systems, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Previous technical experience in roles like Support Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Database Administrator, Site Reliability Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Software Engineer, and/or Systems Engineer.
• Be available as per the schedule required to provide high-quality 24x7 support in a global, distributed setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and the capability to work fully remote with reliable internet connectivity.
• A collaborative mindset focused on global engagement, empathy, and tackling challenging problems.
• A sense of urgency and adventure in developing the most scalable, high-performing, largest, and fastest databases worldwide.
• Ability to cultivate trusted relationships with colleagues, customers, and partners.
• Self-motivated, curious, and eager to continuously learn and develop skills.
• Experience with ClickHouse (Bonus points).
• Familiarity with OSS and open-source technologies, either as a user, community member, or contributor (Bonus points).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or AWS (Bonus points).
• Experience with data pipelines like Kafka, Kinesis, Spark, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies (Bonus points).
