Technical Customer Support Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Analyze customer drawings, specifications, and requirements to recommend suitable materials, processes, and product options.

• Create precise pricing and quotes utilizing internal systems.

• Recognize manufacturability issues and propose alternatives that enhance cost, lead time, or production results.

• Maintain proactive and clear communication with customers through phone, email, and chat to provide updates, resolve issues, and set clear expectations.

• Offer real-time technical assistance over the phone, including addressing manufacturability inquiries and helping customers make informed choices.

• Accurately document customer interactions within internal systems to ensure smooth follow-through and visibility across teams.

• Collaborate closely with on-site production teams to ensure that customer goals are understood and executed properly.

• Cultivate a strong understanding of SendCutSend's capabilities, materials, and processes.

• Assist internal teams by addressing technical questions or order issues that arise during production.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Comfortable delivering live customer support via phone in a dynamic environment.

• Capable of clearly explaining technical manufacturing concepts to customers with diverse levels of experience.

• Proficient in using computer systems and learning proprietary software.

• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
