This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Provide extensive consulting on best practices for data management, encompassing workflows, tools, governance models, and integration patterns.
• Spearhead the design and development of enterprise geographic information systems (GIS) alongside the implementation of Utility Networks (UN).
• Execute data model design and development tasks while utilizing advanced geospatial analysis techniques on datasets.
• Work in close collaboration with the development team to deliver GIS support, training, and assistance.
• Diagnose intricate issues related to existing GIS applications, tools, and data.
• Assist in the development and upkeep of Esri-based GIS solutions and applications.
• Create complex data migration/ETL processes and offer ongoing support for GIS programs and functions that require programming and analysis.
• Generate technical documentation for training purposes and user workflows.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in GIS, Surveying, Engineering, Geography, Information Systems, or a related field.
• A minimum of eight years of relevant experience and/or training.
• Expertise in Esri ArcGIS Software, including Desktop, Extensions, ArcGIS Enterprise Server & Portal.
• Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro and enterprise geodatabases.
• Experience in managing Esri versions and versioning schemes.
• Familiarity with the Esri suite of tools, such as Data Reviewer, Utility Networks, and Attribute Rules.
• Knowledge of FME/Data Interoperability.
• Competence in SQL Server development and usage.
• Familiarity with scripting languages including SQL, Python, ArcPy, Arcade, and other spatial data processing tools.
