Technical Courseware Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, deliver, and maintain top-tier user content aimed at customers.

• Create a variety of deliverables, such as concepts and tasks for networking features, in-product content, installation guides, illustrations, video scripts, course modules, and more.

• Work closely with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to comprehend and identify requirements and customer needs.

• Evaluate specifications and product descriptions and suggest the most effective documentation strategies.

• Gain insights into the customer experience by engaging directly with our networking products.

• Adhere to established style and process guidelines to ensure consistency and thoroughness.

• Oversee technical documentation projects alongside a small team of technical writers, within a structured environment with defined stakeholders and established protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in producing technical content.

• BA/BS in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or a related field; networking certification or equivalent experience is also acceptable.

• Solid understanding of technological concepts such as cloud computing, automation, networking, data centers, security, or other advanced software technologies.

• Capability to research intricate technical concepts both independently and in collaboration with others.

• Experience with XML authoring, content management, and courseware development tools.

• Strong problem-solving abilities; capable of making progress with incomplete information.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Proficient in utilizing AI tools to enhance content creation while maintaining high-quality output.
