Technical Content Marketing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Carry out daily social media tasks, which include scheduling content, publishing, monitoring interactions, engaging with users, and reporting on performance.

• Create and publish various forms of digital content such as blog posts, product announcements, release communications, marketing emails, newsletters, user education materials, and other content that aids users in understanding and adopting Thunderbird products and services.

• Assist with product launches, feature announcements, adoption initiatives, and promotional efforts across various digital platforms.

• Observe social media engagement and collaborate with internal teams when further context or assistance is required.

• Manage editorial and campaign calendars to guarantee the timely execution of marketing activities.

• Monitor and report on performance metrics, pinpointing trends and opportunities for optimization.

• Aid in email marketing and automation tasks, which include managing lists, setting up campaigns, and maintaining workflows.

• Help collect customer feedback and conduct surveys to inform marketing strategies and product insights.

• Work with internal teams and external partners to facilitate campaign execution and content creation.

• Ensure that marketing materials conform to brand standards and messaging guidelines.

• Provide support for various marketing and communications projects as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, digital content, or a related field.

• Experience in marketing software, SaaS, technology products, developer tools, consumer applications, or other digital products aimed at a global audience.

• Proven track record in executing social media, email, and digital marketing strategies across multiple channels.

• Excellent writing, copyediting, and proofreading abilities, with a talent for tailoring messages for various audiences and platforms.

• Familiarity with social media management tools, email marketing platforms, content management systems, and digital marketing technologies.

• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Ability to effectively collaborate across cross-functional teams in a distributed, asynchronous setting.

• A proactive approach with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and see projects through to completion.

• Knowledge of marketing analytics and reporting tools.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to learn and responsibly utilize emerging technologies, including AI-driven tools, to enhance workflows.

• Understanding of diverse cultural dynamics and practices to support a global organization.
