Technical Consultant – Infor M3 CloudSuite

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Carry out post-provisioning tasks for M3 CloudSuite in alignment with project specifications and Work Orders.

• Set up and verify development, testing, training, and production environments for M3.

• Assist in the configuration of M3 Business Engine, including company/division setup and core system parameters.

• Manage and configure settings for the Infor OS platform along with related services.

• Oversee environment readiness, refresh processes, migration of configurations, and resolve technical issues.

• Collaborate with Infor Cloud Operations and customer IT teams to address provisioning, connectivity, and environmental challenges.

• Set up and manage users, roles, authorizations, and application access for M3 and Infor OS.

• Configure and troubleshoot authentication methods, SSO, identity federation, Microsoft Entra ID, and other identity providers.

• Validate access for company/division, role-based permissions, and security settings.

• Aid in security testing, user provisioning, and resolving access-related issues.

• Administer and configure components related to Infor OS and M3 CloudSuite.

• Support the configuration and access management for Infor ION, Infor Document Management, Data Fabric/Data Lake, and Enterprise Search.

• Collaborate with Integration Consultants and technical specialists regarding integration, reporting, and application extension dependencies.

• Engage in planning, estimation, sequencing, and execution of technical cutover activities.

• Assist in preparing for production, validating configurations, and ensuring technical readiness for go-live.

• Develop and implement approved procedures for production environment cleanup and resets as necessary.

• Restore approved production baselines, including Golden Company configurations and relevant Infor OS components.

• Evaluate the effects of monthly Infor CloudSuite updates and manage technical validation and regression testing.

• Troubleshoot issues related to deployment, go-live, and hypercare environments and platforms.

• Maintain documentation for environment configuration, security, and administrative procedures.

• Create technical procedures and support materials for customer IT teams.

• Provide knowledge transfer and training for system administrators and technical owners.

• Facilitate the transition of environment administration and operational duties to customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in ERP technical consulting or enterprise application administration.

• Significant hands-on experience with Infor M3 CloudSuite.

• A minimum of 2 complete life cycle implementations.

• Experience in supporting M3 CloudSuite implementation projects, beyond just ongoing production support.

• Capability to independently configure environments, security, authentication, and technical platform settings.

• Strong comprehension of SaaS delivery models and the distribution of responsibilities among customers, implementation partners, and Infor Cloud Operations.

• Experience in supporting technical cutover, go-live, and customer handover processes.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication abilities.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively with Technology Solution Architects, Integration Consultants, functional consultants, and client IT stakeholders.

• Proficiency in configuring Infor M3 CloudSuite / M3 CE environments, post-provisioning, company/division setup, and M3 Business Engine administration.

• Knowledge of Infor OS platform configuration, tenant administration, user management, and application access.

• Familiarity with security roles, authorization configuration, user provisioning, and access troubleshooting for M3 and Infor OS.

• Awareness of SSO, SAML, identity federation, and enterprise identity providers.

• Understanding of Infor Process Catalog (IPC) standard M3 configurations and preconfigured security roles.

• Management of CloudSuite environments across multiple settings.

• Experience with Infor CloudSuite's monthly update cycles, technical validation, and environment-level regression testing.

• Knowledge of technical cutover, readiness for production, environment cleanup, configuration validation, and go-live support.

• Working knowledge of Infor ION, IDM, Data Fabric/Data Lake, and Enterprise Search sufficient for foundational administration, security, and configuration tasks.
