This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Delivers expert-level professional consulting services.
• Assesses, develops, and implements organizational strategies to enhance the achievement of the vision, mission, and objectives.
• Designs and executes advanced studies, analyses, and research activities.
• Creates presentations and provides strategic recommendations.
• Prepares preliminary inputs for program and organizational documentation related to operational support functions.
• Relevant Operational Areas include: acquisition management, business process reengineering, specialty engineering (such as communications, systems safety, quality assurance, test and evaluation, human factors, reliability and maintainability, systems security, etc.), organizational planning, acquisition logistics, and configuration support and/or program management.
• Relevant Functional Areas consist of: systems engineering, acquisition management, business processes, quality assurance, organizational planning, financial management, acquisition logistics, configuration and data information systems, major enterprise-wide technology implementations, or strategic redesign of enterprise infrastructure.
• CompTIA Network+ certification is preferred.
• Must be eligible for and maintain the necessary customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment, and property.
• Administration experience with Windows 2000 Server or newer is required.
• Familiarity with disaster recovery strategies and replication (geographic redundancy is a plus).
• Capability to analyze and troubleshoot complex service issues, suggest enhancements, and stay informed on security vulnerabilities, new features, hardware, software, and feasibility assessments.
• Knowledge of workflow prioritization is essential.
• Ability to manage high-stress and demanding situations while maintaining efficiency and professionalism is required.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as per business requirements, occasionally on short notice is necessary.
• Conducts online research and is proficient with social networking platforms.
• Focuses on problem-solving with an emphasis on innovation and creativity.
• Offers support for tasks including but not limited to the preparation and distribution of committee meeting agendas.
• Exhibits outstanding customer interface skills to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Maintains a high level of technical knowledge to resolve customer issues quickly and efficiently.
• Demonstrates advanced troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with VistA Imaging is preferred.
• Shows exceptional knowledge of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and third-party hardware infrastructure.
• Participates in 24/7 help desk support coverage.
• Manages the IHS VistA Imaging Call Center.
