This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and nurture robust relationships with affiliated financial professionals (FPs).
• Guide FPs to prioritize formal financial planning to better serve high-net-worth investors.
• Conduct initial discovery meetings, facilitate the gathering of data, and offer strategic recommendations.
• Clearly and effectively convey complex financial concepts to FPs and their clients.
• Promptly respond to advisor inquiries, assess their urgency, and manage priorities accordingly.
• Proactively initiate outreach to aid in business development and asset enhancement.
• Collaborate with internal teams and product specialists (such as advisory, insurance, trust, and alternatives) to provide integrated planning solutions.
• Work alongside Cetera Trust Company and other departments to enhance holistic financial planning.
• Document and share interactions with advisors to ensure continuity and alignment within the team.
• Act as a liaison to various internal departments and product specialists (such as advisory, annuity, insurance, and alternative solutions) to facilitate coordinated accomplishments.
• Keep commitments to FPs, follow through on obligations to internal stakeholders, remain open to constructive dialogue for positive change, and learn from colleagues.
• Ensure that all planning recommendations and implementations comply with regulatory requirements, internal compliance standards, and suitability guidelines, especially when dealing with complex high-net-worth strategies and alternative investments. Serve as a risk-aware partner to advisors, assisting them in navigating fiduciary responsibilities and mitigating potential compliance risks.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a client- or advisor-facing high-net-worth planning role.
• FINRA Series 7 & 63 are required.
• A life insurance license is preferred.
• CFP® designation is preferred or equivalent experience.
• BS/BA in business, finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of trust, estate, and legacy planning.
• Familiarity with business planning, charitable giving, and risk management strategies.
• Experience with alternative investments (e.g., 1031 exchanges, QOZs, REITs, exchange funds, oil & gas programs).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, to create engaging presentations and support data-driven recommendations that influence advisor and client decision-making.
• Skilled in using Salesforce or other CRM systems and financial planning platforms (such as eMoney, MoneyGuidePro).
