This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Responsible for selecting facility charges for emergency department documentation

• Assign modifiers and liaise with medical personnel

• Create and uphold metrics to assess the accuracy of charge code assignments

• Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations

• High School Diploma (Mandatory)

• Certified Professional Coder (to be obtained within one year of employment)

• Graduate from an accredited LPN program
