Technical Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Gather and evaluate business requirements through interviews, workshops, and engagement with stakeholders.

• Convert business needs into functional and technical specifications, including user stories, process flows, and data mappings.

• Document both current and future state processes along with system behavior.

• Analyze and interpret both structured and unstructured data to facilitate solution design and reporting requirements.

• Work collaboratively with engineering teams to design integrations with both internal and third-party systems via RESTful APIs.

• Serve as the intermediary between business stakeholders and technical teams.

• Establish user acceptance test plans and define acceptance criteria.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst position, ideally within technology, telecommunications, or cloud product sectors.

• A degree in business, computing, or a related field.

• An additional Business Analyst certification or diploma is preferred.

• A solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience collaborating with technical teams on integrations.

• Expertise in data analysis and reporting using tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software.
