Technical Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Facilitate comprehensive sessions with clients and stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze current business requirements for the SwiftAssess product.

• Evaluate the collected requirements to ensure they are clear, concise, complete, consistent, and traceable.

• Document thorough end-to-end business workflows and system functionalities, including process flows, use cases, user stories, and functional specifications, emphasizing their relation to SwiftAssess.

• Collaborate with the Product Owner to manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it accurately reflects client needs and business value.

• Work closely with product managers, developers, designers, and quality assurance teams to ensure a unified understanding of client requirements and the proposed solutions within SwiftAssess.

• Contribute to the design of features and functionalities for SwiftAssess, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business goals.

• Clearly communicate requirements and functional specifications to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Engage in the validation and testing stages to guarantee that the delivered functionalities of SwiftAssess meet the specified requirements.

• Develop and sustain a comprehensive understanding of the SwiftAssess product, its features, and its fundamental architecture.

• Remain informed about industry trends and best practices in assessment software and related technologies to enhance requirements gathering and solution design for SwiftAssess.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience in documenting client requirements and articulating business end-to-end functionality for Enterprise systems.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related area (or equivalent experience).

• Demonstrated experience (5+ years) as a Business Analyst within the software industry.

• Experience with assessment software or within the education technology sector is highly preferred.

• Expertise in documenting business processes and functional specifications using methods and tools such as Use Cases, User Stories, Process Flow Diagrams, UML Diagrams, and Wireframes.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for working collaboratively and effectively within a team environment.

• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience operating in an Agile setting.
