This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Assist with the requirements for FY21-004: Hanford Advisory Board (HAB) Facilitation Support Swim Lanes and take responsibility for meeting schedules, agendas, and work plans. This includes establishing and distributing all HAB meeting schedules, agendas, and work plans in collaboration with the DOE HAB Coordinator(s) or their designee, representatives from the Washington State Department of Ecology, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the HAB Chairperson, and the HAB Executive Issues Committee.

• Assist and support with the responsibility for committee and board meeting agendas by working alongside the DOE Hanford Site Deputy Designated Federal Officer, DOE Federal Coordinator, Ecology and EPA agency representatives, and the HAB to ensure that agenda topics are included promptly and are acceptable to all three agencies prior to distribution.

• Engage in ongoing support and communication with agency representatives, including DOE Federal Coordinator(s), HAB leadership, members, and issue managers, ensuring effective and open channels of communication.

• Contribute to the development and distribution of the HAB Annual Report as requested by the DOE Federal Coordinator, fulfilling responsibilities related to HAB annual reporting.

• Assist with Ecology’s Annual HAB/Public Involvement Survey by conducting the survey and presenting the results to the Federal Coordinator.

• Maintain a HAB library in accordance with FACA guidelines, ensuring proper organization and accessibility of information.

• Monitor and assist in executing administrative procedures as developed by the Board, ensuring compliance and efficiency in operations.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five (5) years of consecutive employment in a role with similar responsibilities.

• Proficient in using a computer for email communication.

• Expertise in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and other relevant tools and technologies necessary for the role.

• Deliver work products that are comprehensive, accurate, well-documented, and adhere to established criteria.

• At least four years of relevant experience in organizing meetings and providing administrative support to teams.

• Familiarity with website design and maintenance.

• Ability to identify any conflicts, potential conflicts, or perceived conflicts of interest with any contractors associated with the Hanford Site.

• U.S. Citizenship is required - candidates must be United States Citizens.

• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
