Technical Architect – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in the migration of a large-scale enterprise device and workplace transformation initiative.

• Define, guide, and ensure the integrity of the end-to-end architecture encompassing infrastructure, identity, networking, and security domains.

• Guarantee that all technical solutions are scalable, secure, and comply with enterprise standards.

• Provide architectural governance and leadership across various technical workstreams throughout migration, deployment, and the transition to operational support.

• Assess technical designs related to infrastructure, EUC, Active Directory, networking, and security.

• Collaborate closely with infrastructure, EUC, security, networking, and application teams to ensure cohesive end-to-end solution alignment.

• Supervise network and security architecture, which includes strategies for segmentation and firewalls.

• Offer architectural insights during major incidents, problem investigations, and root cause analyses when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in enterprise architecture within extensive IT environments and transformation programs.

• Robust background in infrastructure, Active Directory/identity, networking, and security architecture.

• Experience in delivering architecture for large-scale migration, modernization, or enterprise transformation projects.

• Profound understanding of enterprise IT operations, service delivery models, and ITIL-based governance frameworks.

• Experience in regulated or highly controlled enterprise environments.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities at both technical and executive levels.

• Capability to function effectively in complex, fast-paced project delivery settings.

• Extensive technical expertise in:

• o Enterprise infrastructure and identity architecture (Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows and Linux Server).

• o Enterprise networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, wireless, Cisco technologies, segmentation, firewall architecture).

• o Security architecture (including Palo Alto firewalls, Zero Trust principles, secure access models, endpoint/security alignment).

• o Citrix or VDI environments.
