Senior Golang Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Design and create backend components within a secure DSC environment.

• Develop APIs to facilitate smooth interaction with other system components.

• Create business logic, state models, event processing, and logging mechanisms.

• Work with MS SQL Server to optimize queries and maintain data integrity.

• Integrate with associated systems and services.

• Engage in technical design, task estimation, and code reviews.

• Diagnose and resolve defects found during testing, security audits, and acceptance phases.

• Construct secure, scalable, and high-performance backend systems for MilTech products that manage mission-critical data.

• Contribute to systems that influence defense and security technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional Golang development experience.

• Proven experience in designing and building backend services, REST/gRPC APIs, and system integrations.

• Strong proficiency with MS SQL Server, including schema design, transactions, indexes, stored procedures, and query optimization.

• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Linux environments.

• Understanding of secure development principles such as authorization, authentication, access control, auditing, and API protection.

• Background in microservices or modular architecture.

• Capacity to produce maintainable, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code.

• Experience participating in code reviews and technical design discussions.

• Willingness to operate within secure infrastructure and adhere to stringent information security protocols.

• Nice-to-have: experience in developing government information systems or highly secure platforms.

• Nice-to-have: knowledge of digital signatures (КЕП), user action logging, and audit trails.

• Nice-to-have: experience integrating systems across isolated or protected environments.

• Nice-to-have: MS SQL Server experience in production settings.

• Nice-to-have: understanding of Kubernetes, message brokers, and event-driven architecture.

• Nice-to-have: experience with high-load or mission-critical services.

• Nice-to-have: strong security-oriented mindset.
