Technical Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development and modernization of systems within Federal Government settings across various agencies.

• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise applications utilizing .NET Core/Framework and Java/Spring Boot.

• Architect application designs, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks that adhere to Federal security and compliance standards.

• Provide strategic guidance for product development and implementation.

• Offer engineering support during the final stages of product implementation and customization.

• Showcase solutions to clients effectively.

• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to convert requirements into technical solutions.

• Direct development teams technically, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

• Supervise application integrations, performance optimization, and the implementation of data security measures.

• Assist in the transition of legacy applications to modern cloud-native architectures.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies and continuous integration and deployment practices.

• Generate code with AI and manage AI agents.

• Utilize AI-enhanced development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and other models.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Over 10 years of software development experience, including at least 3 years in a technical or solution architecture position.

• Proficient in vibe coding.

• Practical experience with C#, .NET Core/Framework, Java, and Spring Boot.

• Front-end development experience with Angular, React, or similar frameworks, along with HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.

• Expertise in RESTful API development and microservices architectures.

• Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud services and Docker/Kubernetes containerization.

• Strong background in database development with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps methodologies.

• US citizenship is required.

• Must be eligible for a Secret clearance.

• Preferred: experience with Oracle ERP.

• Preferred: background in a Federal IT consulting environment.

• Preferred: knowledge of SOA, API gateways, and message brokers such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.

• Preferred: familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and DevSecOps methodologies.

• Preferred: cloud certifications like Azure Solutions Architect or AWS Solutions Architect.

• Preferred: understanding of FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP security compliance frameworks.
