This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania, +1 more state.
• Create, maintain, and enhance intricate SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to facilitate analysis, configuration validation, reporting, and issue resolution.
• Conduct thorough data analysis and root-cause investigations to address system and production challenges.
• Utilize SQL for extracting, analyzing, reconciling, and validating data across multiple environments to assist in solution development, testing, and quality assurance.
• Aid in performance optimization by evaluating queries, batch jobs, execution plans, and overall system throughput.
• Execute smoke testing and post-release validation to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
• Collaborate with data conversion teams to assist in migration planning, data loading, reconciliation, and validation processes.
• Confirm the accuracy, completeness, and alignment of converted and migrated data with business and policy objectives.
• Assist and verify configuration synchronizations (e.g., Redgate) from baseline to upper environments (source-to-target).
• Examine, validate, and reconcile interface outputs, extract files, reports, and database feeds.
• Assess X12 EDI transactions (e.g., 834, 837, 835, 820, 999/277) for structure, content, and processing results.
• Act as a technical bridge among Business Analysts, Configuration Analysts, developers, QA, conversion teams, and operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Over 10 years of experience as a Technical Analyst, Data Analyst, or Healthcare Systems Analyst.
• Proficient in advanced SQL, including complex joins, transformations, large dataset analysis, and stored procedures.
• Experience in supporting MMIS, Medicaid, or Medicaid Pharmacy systems.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare data and Medicaid domains (Member, Provider, Claims, Pharmacy, Finance, Care Management).
• Proven experience with data analysis, troubleshooting, and validating technical outputs.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication abilities.
