Technical Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• The technical analyst is responsible for collecting and organizing technical intelligence related to strategic technology areas for Indorama Ventures Investments & Holding (IVIH).

• Maintain a comprehensive technology and IP map for each strategic technology area, utilizing IP searches, open-source data, and market reports.

• Assist the IVIH team during technical discussions with technology developers.

• Facilitate interactions with third parties and technology developers to gather data and information necessary for thorough technical analysis.

• Deliver benchmarks for various technologies within each domain, employing process modeling and LCA’s, and selectively coordinating experimental work with third parties, ultimately contributing to economic model inputs.

• Establish and maintain an IT database that houses all relevant information and communications pertaining to IVIH's strategic technology domains.

• Provide timely updates on significant developments within the field or the emergence of new players.

• Conduct assessments for early-stage startups.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in Chemical or Process Engineering, with foundational knowledge in economics and IP.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant settings such as chemicals/plastics manufacturing, technology development, engineering firms, consultancy, or IP firms.

• Preferred experience with PX, PTA, EO, MEG, PET, packaging, and/or recycling.

• Experience in process modeling and LCA’s is advantageous (e.g., Aspen+, SimaPro).

• Proficiency in using basic tools for process engineering design.

• Strong communication skills with a high level of proficiency in the English language.
