Technical Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Offer strategic guidance to clients and implementation partners for an effective Identity Security Program.

• Conduct evaluations of the client's current identity framework and develop their future identity roadmap.

• Establish clients’ role-based access control and application onboarding initiatives.

• Ensure adherence to SailPoint best practices throughout the project to ensure successful delivery.

• Mentor and provide direction to junior team members during project implementation.

• Present pros and cons to clients regarding the development of custom tools that align with their unique and complex business objectives.

• Foster strong business relationships with clients and partners.

• Collaborate with other advisory service leaders and program managers to recommend necessary adjustments for the program.

• Engage with cross-functional teams to grasp the product roadmap, identify product limitations, and advise clients on strategic direction.

• Document and highlight gaps in SaaS product adoption.

• Suggest areas for enhancing the consumption of SaaS products.

• Address complex challenges utilizing the product’s Atlas extensibility platform, involving hands-on implementation work.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in a technical consulting position.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills are required to conduct identity security program assessments and develop a roadmap.

• Proficiency with identity provisioning and governance products is essential.

• Knowledge of networking, directory servers, and databases is mandatory.

• Familiarity with Azure and AWS is advantageous.

• Experience with web-based APIs is required.

• Background in Object-Oriented Programming is a plus.

• Experience with scripting frameworks such as Angular, Node JS, TypeScript, etc., is beneficial.

• Strong organizational, leadership, and multitasking abilities are necessary.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required.

• Proficient in documentation management and project management tools.

• Detail-oriented, even in high-pressure situations.

• Strong time management capabilities with the ability to meet deadlines.

• IdentityIQ or IdentityNow certification is a plus.

• Experience with data science and machine learning language models is advantageous.

• Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or CISM are a plus.
