This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Ensure that customers enjoy an exceptional experience with the Diversey cleaning and sanitation program.
• Build strong relationships at all levels within customer organizations (end users/supervisors/managers).
• Maintain a completely secure environment by fully adhering to policies, procedures, and best practices established by the EHS department.
• Install equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Conduct regular site visits.
• Keep existing customer equipment in operational condition.
• Provide training to customers on safe equipment usage, Safety Data Sheets, cleaning procedures, and product information.
• Monitor inventory to ensure customers have the essential supplies on-site, handle purchasing orders, and ensure program compliance.
• Act as the customer's voice – summarize areas of focus, follow up on issues, and gauge customer satisfaction.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and conditions.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels in the company vehicle and storage units.
• Repair leased dish machines and equipment in accordance with priorities and the service level agreement.
• Perform administrative tasks – complete daily timesheets, follow up on equipment/parts purchasing orders, document equipment/parts usage at customer sites for cost allocation, and review the weekly customer visit plan with your manager.
• Complete a paid annual training program and mandatory safety training.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of field service experience (maintaining industrial equipment/mechanical problem solving) or selling cleaning solutions/equipment to Hospitality/Food Service businesses.
• Availability to support business needs (emergency calls) which may occur during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient in computer technology – Email, Excel, Word, Google Apps, and mobile applications.
• Must possess a valid US Driver’s License with a clean driving record and the ability to drive for extended periods.
• Physical requirements include moving objects up to 40 lbs and performing precise work in confined spaces.
• Skilled in the effective use of power tools in limited spaces.
• Basic plumbing and electrical skills.
• Must demonstrate a professional attitude and be self-motivated/directed.
• Attention to detail, time management, communication, decision-making, interpersonal relationships, and organizational skills are essential.
