Tech Writer / Editor, Health IT Informatics Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Assists in gathering requirements, documenting processes, and producing high-quality technical writing/editing for all ORIS deliverables, playbooks, training resources, and knowledge-transfer materials.

• Records workflows, decision-rights matrices, and Value Stream processes.

• Manages version control of enterprise curriculum and governance documentation.

• Collects, analyzes, and composes the technical information necessary for preparing user manuals, training resources, installation guides, proposals, and reports.

• Edits functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, and special reports.

• Conducts research to ensure the accurate use of technical terminology and translates technical information into clear, comprehensible documents.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or 6 additional years of specialized experience in place of a degree).

• At least 4 years of specialized experience in requirements analysis, documentation, or technical writing within a health IT environment.

• A strong command of medical/healthcare terminology is essential.

• Significant experience with computer-based systems.

• Demonstrated ability to translate complex clinical informatics concepts into clear, user-facing materials.
