Tech Service Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver commercial technical assistance to both existing and prospective clients.

• Offer practical support and troubleshoot issues related to injection, extrusion, and blow-molding processes.

• Respond to inquiries about plastics concerning material properties, processing techniques, equipment, and testing methods.

• Evaluate applications and make material selections.

• Analyze mold designs.

• Participate in customer meetings as the designated technical specialist.

• Conduct technical workshops.

• Provide technical documentation, including material properties and other relevant documents.

• Help identify the causes of part failures.

• Aid in obtaining specification approvals.

• Create technical presentations and competitive offset lists.

• Support Business Development Managers with unique projects.

• Join customer conference calls to discuss technical matters.

• Offer technical support during processing trials.

• Produce technical reports for trials and customer-related projects.

• Write visit reports to record visits and share information within the Technology Group.

• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, agencies, testing facilities, and personnel within the Ravago organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Plastics Engineering, Plastics Technology, Material Science, or equivalent experience preferred.

• Ability to effectively manage a demanding travel schedule.

• Proficient in prioritizing tasks and managing daily projects.

• Capable of working in a shared environment with continuous noise, with or without a private office.

• Ability to push, pull, and lift weights of up to 40 lbs weekly.

• Capable of traveling by foot, car, bus, airplane, or other means of transportation, including extended periods of sitting, waiting, and standing.

• Ability to set up desk equipment, including arranging equipment and connecting cables and power cords.

• Proficient in verbal communication, reading, comprehending information, and consistent daily typing.
