This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conceptualize and spearhead cross-ideological initiatives for AI policy solutions at both state and federal levels.
• Identify and mobilize stakeholders to cultivate support for pro-democracy AI and data governance.
• Develop and refine innovative policy proposals concerning AI surveillance, data governance, and transparency.
• Serve as a nonpartisan advisor, delivering expert insights on AI's influence on civic trust.
• Author and present materials to emphasize the necessity for specific reforms.
• Collaborate with federal and state officials, technology platforms, and civil society organizations.
• Minimum of 12 years of pertinent professional experience, or 10+ years with an advanced degree in a related field.
• Expertise in law, public policy, political science, or political campaigns, coupled with a solid understanding of AI capabilities.
• Dedication to cross-ideological advocacy and the ability to cultivate relationships across the political spectrum.
• Proficiency in designing and leading technology policy development and advocacy efforts.
• Experience overseeing intricate projects and teams from conception through to execution.
• Capability to draft legislative or regulatory proposals and mentor team members.
• Strong political acumen with the ability to effect change using limited resources.
• Skill in nurturing collaborative relationships within diverse settings.
• Growth-oriented mindset and eagerness for constructive feedback.
