Tech Manager I – Gen AI Relationship RE, Direct Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage the software development team, focusing on nurturing and developing our employees through Individual Development Plans, conducting one-on-one sessions, creating action plans, and providing regular feedback;

• Assist team members in implementing agile methodologies by facilitating ceremonies integral to the squad’s selected practices, including planning sessions, refinements, retrospectives, and more;

• Eliminate obstacles hindering the team’s progress;

• Cultivate an atmosphere of respect and trust with team members, adapting your leadership approach to various circumstances;

• Collaborate with the organization to uncover opportunities and critical roles essential for the team’s success;

• Coordinate initiatives that involve multiple teams to ensure the product’s success;

• Conduct sessions with diverse stakeholders to present recent outcomes, gather feedback and insights, and synchronize on the product roadmap;

• Effectively communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to all stakeholders;

• Develop the squad’s vision and mission collaboratively with team members;

• Continuously monitor product metrics, business metrics, and technical indicators, offering critiques, enhancements, and ensuring visibility of the team’s objectives and initiative statuses;

• Engage in product discovery activities, problem mapping, and incident resolution;

• Play a role in defining the product/squad objectives and key metrics, consistently updating stakeholders on these results (OKRs);

• Establish a software development process and maintain a consistent, healthy delivery pace;

• Manage competing needs and priorities, taking ownership and embracing risks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment;

• Previous experience in leading software development teams for digital products;

• Solid technical background (previously a developer or architect) with the capability to discuss software architecture, integrations, and engineering best practices;

• Familiarity with AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain) and a basic understanding of how language models function (primarily for technical management, not necessarily hands-on experience);

• Proven experience in process, product, or service enhancement;

• Knowledge of facilitation and problem-solving methodologies;

• Experience working within agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, etc.);

• Experience guiding teams through technological and/or process modernization or migration;
