This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, enhance, and take ownership of the technical quality of TechInsights' proprietary Compute AI model, integrating teardown, reverse-engineering, costing, and market intelligence data.
• Oversee the comprehensive market model for SoC processors and AI accelerators, which includes market share analysis, forecasts, bottom-up assessments by player/product, Silicon IP, design supply-chain dynamics, foundry/wafer demand, AI xPU performance metrics, power requirements, and token economics, extending across fabless, foundry, OEM, and hyperscaler segments.
• Utilize problem-solving skills and AI-driven tools to expedite the modeling of AI silicon, packaging, and system-level cost/performance trends.
• Document and enhance modeling methodologies to facilitate scaling across the Compute/AI practice.
• Conduct research, draft, and publish senior-level technical analyses regarding the model's insights and their implications for the supply chain.
• Collaborate with other analysts within the Market Intelligence organization, serving as a technical resource and mentor.
• Contribute to the team’s Innovation & R&D initiatives and represent modeling capabilities in internal discussions and cross-functional planning.
• Present findings from models to clients and executives, transforming intricate outputs into straightforward narratives for non-technical audiences.
• Assist select high-value client engagements as a subject matter expert.
• Over 8 years of experience in semiconductor market research, technology analysis, or a related field, demonstrating consistent ownership of a product, model, or analytical framework.
• Extensive technical and analytical knowledge in semiconductor markets and data modeling, including expertise with advanced modeling techniques and AI-driven tools.
• Strong grasp of the semiconductor supply chain, encompassing fabless, foundry, OEM, and hyperscaler segments.
• Established capability to address complex, ambiguous challenges with creativity, rigor, and independent judgment, requiring minimal guidance.
• Experience in mentoring junior analysts and serving as a technical resource across teams.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for both technical and executive audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
