Tech Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the personnel within the software development team, emphasizing coaching and the professional growth of team members through regular one-on-one meetings and continuous feedback;

• Accountable for facilitating squad ceremonies in line with the adopted methodology, including Planning, Refinement, Retrospectives, and more;

• Eliminate obstacles hindering the team's progress;

• Evaluate and suggest enhancements to current features, services, and processes;

• Collaborate with the team to develop working methods that align with agile methodologies and foster a digital culture;

• Host sessions with various stakeholders to present recent outcomes, collect feedback and insights, and synchronize on the product roadmap;

• Aid in establishing the product/squad goals and key performance indicators, consistently reporting these outcomes to stakeholders (OKRs).

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in leading software development teams focused on digital products

• Proven experience in process, product, or service enhancement

• Background in software development (experience in Backend, FullStack, or Frontend roles)

• Familiarity with facilitation techniques and problem-solving strategies

• Experience working within agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)

• Understanding of System Architecture

• Awareness of mobile platforms

• Knowledge of support/maintenance frameworks and prioritization of bug fixes

• Ability to distill information and derive actionable insights from abstract discussions or meetings

• Skill in organizing deliverables and prioritizing tasks

• Experience performing root cause analysis

• Proven track record of leading teams through technological and/or process modernization and migration efforts

• Experience in building development teams—from organizational design and recruitment to training and establishing a high-performance structure

• Familiarity with the retail/stores & franchises market and/or the retail industry.
