Tech Lead – Web3 Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• In the role of Web3 Lead, you will spearhead the research, design, and execution of our web3 infrastructure.

• Create scalable, high-performance, and resilient software solutions.

• Oversee the technical advancement of our layer 1 and layer 2 web3 protocols.

• Play a key role in researching and defining our decentralized cloud solutions along with web3 infrastructure.

• Ensure solutions are validated across all relevant stakeholders.

• Architect and implement efficient and robust distributed systems.

• Take a hands-on approach in managing, scaling, and maintaining production software.

• Build dynamic teams across all facets of web3 development.

• Drive recruitment, cross-functional training, and mentorship initiatives.

• Supervise deliverables within your scope and ensure they align with the vision established with leadership.

• Collaborate closely with the leadership team to synchronize vision, design, and implementation strategies.

• Partner with our Product Leadership to outline the technical roadmap for our cloud product infrastructure.

• Engage with and educate the community, including presenting our technology at external events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional academic background in computer science, computer engineering, or related disciplines.

• A thorough understanding of distributed systems principles and their applications.

• Profound conceptual grasp of blockchain technologies and their associated ecosystems.

• Extensive experience in the technical design and implementation of web3 and peer-to-peer decentralized technologies, including protocol layer 1 development.

• Strong proficiency in building applications using Go and/or Rust.

• Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining production software at scale.

• Significant experience leading projects autonomously in a fast-paced setting.

• Background in hiring, developing, and leading a successful team, fostering a collaborative environment and continuous learning.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, contributors, and users.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
