Tech Lead – Senior Software Engineer, Internal Tools & Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

• You evaluate current tools and enhance their stability.

• You resolve bugs, performance challenges, and data-related issues.

• You introduce structure to our systems, including APIs, data models, and workflows.

• You create guidelines, standards, and meaningful frameworks for developing internal tools and AI-assisted solutions.

• You design quality assurance processes, testing methodologies, and review systems, such as code reviews.

• You make practical decisions regarding what to retain, what to enhance, and what to discard.

• You assist both internal and external developers in working more efficiently and ensure adherence to our quality standards.

• You integrate data from various sources, including ERP, e-commerce, and internal tools.

• You guarantee that data is consistent, traceable, and reliably usable.

• You guide the team in utilizing AI sensibly for development and automation.

• Strong background in software development and experience with legacy or evolved systems.

• Enjoy being actively involved in coding tasks.

• A pragmatic perspective on existing, imperfect systems.

• Ability to make sensible decisions and enhance current systems rather than starting anew.

• A keen sense for meaningful simplifications, organized structures, and robust solutions.

• Comprehensive technical knowledge with a distinct proficiency in software development, systems thinking, and an interest in contemporary development techniques, including AI assistance.

• Ideally, experience with APIs, data models, internal tools, or system integrations.
