Tech Lead – PropTech, Real Estate Media

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Panama.

📋 Description

• Lead Technical Execution: Oversee the development of comprehensive features for a streamlined team, making sensible compromises between swift delivery and the long-term integrity of the code.

• Ship from the Front: Stay actively involved, producing clean, production-ready code throughout the entire full-stack TypeScript ecosystem.

• Architect AI & Agentic Systems: Advance beyond basic implementations to deploy tailored agentic workflows, state machine logic, and custom RAG pipelines.

• Engineer Trust & Reliability: Create custom guardrails, traceability frameworks, and confidence/quality algorithms to quantitatively measure, test, and validate the reliability of LLM outputs.

• Execute with Ambiguity: Transform high-level, vague concepts into functional, operational code swiftly, emphasizing immediate execution over prolonged architectural discussions.

• Set Engineering Standards: Implement stringent code review processes, testing protocols, and guidelines for the responsible and mature application of AI coding assistants within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Language Expertise: Mastery of TypeScript with extensive comfort in using advanced patterns (e.g., Generics and Discriminated Unions) to enhance shipping speed.

• Backend Foundations: Extensive Node.js experience, with a strong preference for Mastra or a proven history in constructing custom state-machine-driven backend logic.

• Frontend Frameworks: Strong skills in contemporary web development; our primary stack is SvelteKit, but React or Vue experts with the engineering capability to quickly learn new frameworks are highly encouraged to apply.

• Production AI Experience: Proven experience in deploying practical LLM-powered features or agents, along with a solid grasp of token costs, evaluations, and prompt safety.

• Pragmatic AI Tooling: Advanced daily usage of next-gen engineering assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) to automate boilerplate, combined with the strict engineering discipline to manually troubleshoot syntax issues promptly.

• Elite Full-Stack Generalist: The capacity to navigate the entire web stack independently without being hindered by business-logic challenges or basic syntax issues.
