Tech Lead – PropTech, Real Estate Media

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead Technical Execution: Oversee the development of comprehensive features for a streamlined team, making pragmatic trade-offs between swift delivery and long-term code quality.

• Ship from the Front: Stay actively involved by writing clean, production-quality code throughout the entire full-stack TypeScript ecosystem.

• Architect AI & Agentic Systems: Advance beyond basic implementations to deploy customized agentic workflows, state machine logic, and tailored RAG pipelines.

• Engineer Trust & Reliability: Develop custom guardrails, traceability frameworks, and confidence/quality algorithms to quantitatively measure, test, and validate LLM output reliability.

• Execute with Ambiguity: Transform high-level, ambiguous concepts into functional, working code swiftly, prioritizing immediate execution over lengthy architectural discussions.

• Set Engineering Standards: Create stringent code review processes, testing discipline, and guidelines for the responsible and mature utilization of AI coding assistants within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Language Expertise: Proficient in TypeScript at an expert level, with a deep familiarity in utilizing advanced patterns (e.g., Generics and Discriminated Unions) to enhance shipping efficiency.

• Backend Foundations: Extensive experience with Node.js, with a strong preference for Mastra or a proven history in developing custom state-machine-driven backend logic.

• Frontend Frameworks: Strong skills in contemporary web development; our primary stack is SvelteKit, but we welcome React or Vue experts with the engineering ability to quickly adapt to new frameworks.

• Production AI Experience: A proven record of deploying practical LLM-powered features or agents, along with a solid understanding of token costs, evaluations, and prompt safety.

• Pragmatic AI Tooling: Advanced daily use of next-generation engineering assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) to automate boilerplate, coupled with the strict engineering discipline to manually debug syntax issues swiftly.

• Elite Full-Stack Generalist: Ability to navigate the entire web stack independently without being hindered by business-logic obstacles or basic syntax challenges.
