Tech Lead – Fullstack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership to the team while actively engaging in development tasks.

• Enhance the system architecture (combining monolith and microservices) to ensure both scalability and simplicity.

• Coordinate integrations involving Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, and various other systems.

• Guarantee comprehensive quality across the board (including code, tests, production, and observability).

• Engage in troubleshooting, performance enhancement, and ongoing improvements.

• Mentor and support the engineering team members.

• Take part in technical decision-making processes and conduct code reviews.

• Synchronize technological initiatives with business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Senior role with a focus on technical leadership.

• Proficient backend development skills in Ruby on Rails and/or TypeScript.

• Hands-on approach with a commitment to active coding responsibilities.

• Familiarity with REST APIs and integration processes.

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and data modeling techniques.

• Experience working with AWS.

• Strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Skilled in automated testing and adherence to engineering best practices.

• Additional technical assets: experience with microservices and messaging systems (like SQS/SNS or equivalent), knowledge of Flutter or mobile integrations, familiarity with Redis, DynamoDB, or other NoSQL databases, advanced CI/CD practices (e.g., GitHub Actions, Argo CD, and Infrastructure as Code), and the ability to leverage AI to expedite the development process. Proficiency in Spanish and/or English is a plus.
