Tech Lead – Full Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

• Facilitate architectural discussions and decisions within your area, ensuring adherence to best practices for distributed microservices.

• Establish and uphold engineering best practices throughout the team.

• Promote a positive code review culture that values constructive feedback and ongoing learning.

• Collaborate in developing the technical roadmap and assist your team in its implementation.

• Drive significant technical decisions, establish standards, and ensure alignment with business goals.

• Mentor and guide engineers in their technical development.

• Blend strategic vision with practical execution as necessary.

• Communicate efficiently with engineering, product, and business teams.

• Simplify complex technical issues into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in back-end development with a strong grasp of software engineering principles.

• Extensive experience with Java and Spring frameworks.

• Proficient in Kotlin.

• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as React and Angular.

• Strong understanding of databases, encompassing SQL, data modeling, and query optimization.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Practical experience with various testing methods (unit, integration).

• In-depth knowledge of system design and architecture, including design patterns and microservices.

• Demonstrated capability to design and develop scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems, prioritizing long-term quality.
