This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Lead, inspire, and nurture a team of engineers;
• Make informed technical choices and tackle complex challenges;
• Uphold established standards and practices within the team, guiding them to convert business logic into high-quality code;
• Define and execute new features;
• Comprehend and discuss issues and proposed solutions, consistently striving for the optimal technical approach to the challenges faced;
• Convey pertinent technical information to the business and other stakeholders involved in product and solution development (team, other leads, managers, stakeholders);
• Review the code produced by the team, offering constructive feedback;
• Assist the team in breaking down large tasks into manageable, cohesive segments;
• Monitor solutions implemented in production, assessing errors, performance, and availability;
• Stay updated on market trends, pinpoint opportunities for innovation, and guide the team in adopting solutions that enhance the company’s growth and competitiveness;
• Collaborate on enhancements or new standards for the Engineering knowledge base;
• Demonstrated experience in Web Development;
• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban;
• Background in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices along with automated testing;
• Expertise with frameworks, libraries, and tools like Java, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, among others;
• Understanding of Software Architecture, design principles, and design patterns;
• Experience in designing scalable, modular, and high-performance systems;
• Strong skills in conflict management, decision-making, assertive communication, and strategic vision;
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field;
