Tech Lead Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Redesign and map comprehensive development workflows, from the initial idea to deployment and ongoing operations.

• Detect systemic bottlenecks that affect numerous teams simultaneously.

• Establish, monitor, and enhance flow metrics such as lead time, cycle time, DORA metrics, and flow efficiency.

• Link engineering methodologies and development processes to business results.

• Develop, standardize, and improve the development pipeline, ensuring uniformity while maintaining teams' independence.

• Implement and refine Continuous Delivery practices, minimizing friction within the CI/CD pipeline.

• Standardize ceremonies and rituals at scale without overly restricting teams.

• Facilitate PI Planning, conduct system-level retrospectives, and coordinate activities between dependent teams.

• Act as a technical and process reference, collaborating with engineers as colleagues.

• Communicate effectively across various levels, from junior developers to the CTO.

• Understanding of software architecture and the capacity to engage technically with engineers.

• Ability to discern when not to apply frameworks rigidly.

• Knowledge of agile practices, ceremonies, and governance at scale.

• Experience in settings involving multiple consultancies and significant organizational complexity.

• Capability to influence without formal authority while collaborating with numerous tech leads.

• Systems thinking, a high tolerance for ambiguity, and effective communication across various levels.

• Familiarity with programming languages (any language), with a preferred understanding of TypeScript.
