This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Oversee the development team focused on the Credit Cards segment, fostering best practices in software engineering, architectural standards, and code quality;
• Assist in the impact assessment of alterations and new features alongside Credit Cards product managers;
• Engage actively in deployments in collaboration with the DevOps team;
• Investigate and swiftly resolve production bugs impacting Efí customers;
• Aid in the advancement of architectures within AWS, utilizing cloud-native or third-party services;
• Act as the technical authority for projects utilizing TypeScript and Node.js, ensuring scalability, performance, and resilience;
• Schedule execution timelines for each Cards project slated for deployment or currently in progress, with the aim of achieving targets and optimizing outcomes;
• Work with Aurora and PostgreSQL databases, guaranteeing efficient modeling and high availability;
• Promote the adoption of AI agents and intelligent automation to enhance delivery speed and improve team productivity;
• Actively contribute to strategic and product decisions concerning the Cards ecosystem;
• Assist in preparing studies on establishing and modifying methodologies and procedures necessary for systems development, ensuring technical documentation remains current with development standards;
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of ongoing learning;
• Facilitate communication between technical and business sectors, participating in scope and deadline negotiations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline;
• Experience in systems architecture;
• Strong background with TypeScript and Node.js in production settings;
• Familiarity with software development methodologies;
• Experience with distributed systems architecture and microservices;
• Proficient in technical English;
• Hands-on experience with AWS (e.g., EC2, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, among others);
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and Aurora databases;
• Experience or keen interest in applying AI within development (e.g., copilots, autonomous agents, intelligent automations);
• Exceptional verbal communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities;
• Analytical, proactive, and results-driven mindset.
