Tech Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as the technical authority for the cluster: all architecture decisions, technology selections, and design evaluations will be directed through you.

• Complete the end-to-end delivery process: define, execute, release to production, and monitor.

• Guide the cluster's Technical Owners and senior engineers: success is measured by the team's ability to operate with reduced reliance on your input.

• Engage in cross-cluster Tech Governance: participate in architecture discussions and establish technical standards alongside other company leaders.

• Advocate for the cluster's technical vision to product teams and management as necessary.

• Set an example in the integration of AI within development as a procedural reference for the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Profound knowledge in Node.js/TypeScript with NestJS.

• Familiarity with BFF architecture and REST APIs.

• Experience with Redis in production: including sizing, cache invalidation, and determining appropriate usage scenarios.

• Proficient in asynchronous messaging using Kafka or similar technologies: focusing on idempotency, event ordering, and handling failures.

• A mindset geared towards systems and distributed architecture, rather than merely isolated coding.

• Experience in automated testing and Docker.

• Commitment to clean code practices and design patterns.

• Experience in environments with multiple squads or clusters is a plus.

• Participation in platform or cross-team architecture decision-making is a plus.
