Tech Lead, APIs & Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design integration architecture and manage integration patterns (both synchronous and asynchronous) between core platforms and external services.

• Implement and uphold standards for PGP encryption, identity management (SSO / SAML / OAuth), and secure file transfers utilizing SFTP and NDM (Network Data Mover).

• Provide technical leadership to the development team by promoting best practices, executing code reviews, and resolving complex technical issues.

• Ensure that integrations adhere to screening processes (watchlists, security validations, and compliance checks) to maintain operational integrity.

• Assess and introduce new technologies to enhance the latency, security, and observability of current integrations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with 5+ years of professional experience.

• API Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of REST, GraphQL, and gRPC, along with full API lifecycle management (API Management).

• File Transfer: Strong experience in configuring and securing SFTP channels and enterprise-grade protocols like NDM.

• Security: In-depth understanding of data encryption (PGP), digital signatures, and SSO authentication protocols (Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity).

• Compliance Integrations: Experience with integrating screening engines and real-time data validation solutions.

• Infrastructure: Familiarity with Cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices orchestration.

• Proficient in English communication at an advanced level.
