Tech Lead, Android Core Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of significant features and collaborate closely with the design team to provide high-quality in-app functionalities.

• Influence the future direction of the Android team.

• Manage, maintain, and enhance reliability metrics for essential features.

• Engage in discussions with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.

• Review pull requests and assist teammates.

• Address critical issues and manage unforeseen challenges.

• Oversee feature releases and deliver nightly builds for the QA team.

• Support the expanding user base of the Android app and contribute to new projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering.

• Familiarity with Android components.

• Proven experience in building or contributing to at least one Android application.

• Strong intuition for product design and empathy for users.

• Passion for pushing the limits of Android UI/UX.

• Knowledge of the significance of tests and how to effectively write them.

• Self-motivated to enhance the app and codebase beyond the outlined specifications.

• Robust experience with Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Background Services, Music Player Service, Android Animations, Jetpack Navigation, and JUnit tests.

• Excellent communication skills.
