Tech Lead, Android Core Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of major features and collaborate closely with the design team, ensuring the delivery of top-notch app functionalities.

• Influence the future direction of the Android team.

• Manage, uphold, and enhance reliability metrics for essential features.

• Engage in discussions with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.

• Review pull requests and provide support to team members.

• Address critical issues and navigate unforeseen challenges.

• Take charge of feature releases and offer nightly builds for the QA team.

• Participate in various technical interviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering.

• Knowledge of Android components.

• Experience in building or contributing to at least one Android application.

• Strong intuition for product design and empathy for users.

• Motivation to push the limits of Android UI/UX.

• Understanding of the significance of tests and the methodologies for writing them.

• Self-motivated to enhance the app and codebase beyond the specifications provided.

• Extensive experience with Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Background Services, Music Player Service, Android Animations, Jetpack Navigation, and JUnit tests.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Problem-solving approach focused on user needs.
