Tech Lead, Android Core Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of significant features while collaborating closely with the design team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality in-app functionalities.

• Influence the future direction of the Android team.

• Own, sustain, and enhance reliability metrics for essential features.

• Engage in discussions with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.

• Review pull requests and provide support to team members.

• Address critical issues and tackle unexpected challenges.

• Take charge of feature releases and deliver nightly builds for the QA team.

• Complete multiple technical interviews, expected to be finalized within one week.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering.

• Familiarity with Android components.

• Experience in building or contributing to at least one Android application.

• Strong intuition for product design and understanding of user needs.

• Motivation to enhance Android UI/UX beyond conventional boundaries.

• Knowledge of the significance of tests and strategies for writing them.

• Self-motivation to elevate the app and codebase beyond the specifications provided.

• Extensive experience with Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Background Services, Music Player Service, Android Animations, Jetpack Navigation, and JUnit tests.

• Exceptional communication abilities.
