Tech Lead – Android Core Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Luxembourg.

📋 Description

• Take charge of significant features while collaborating closely with the design team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality app functionalities.

• Help define the future direction of the Android team.

• Own, manage, and enhance reliability metrics for essential features.

• Engage in discussions with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.

• Review pull requests and provide support to fellow team members.

• Address critical issues and navigate unexpected challenges.

• Take responsibility for feature releases and furnish nightly builds for the QA team.

• Participate in multiple technical interviews, aimed to be completed within a single week.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering.

• Knowledge of Android components.

• Experience in developing or contributing to at least one Android application.

• Intuition for product design and empathy for users.

• Motivation to push the limits of Android UI/UX.

• Understanding of the significance of tests and methodologies for writing them.

• Proactive attitude towards enhancing the app and codebase beyond the specifications.

• Strong expertise in Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Background Services, Music Player Service, Android Animations, Jetpack Navigation, and JUnit tests.

• Exceptional communication abilities.
