Tech Lead, Android Core Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of significant features and collaborate closely with the design team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality in-app functionalities.

• Influence the direction of the Android team.

• Own, maintain, and enhance reliability metrics for essential features.

• Engage in discussions with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.

• Review pull requests and assist fellow team members.

• Address critical issues and navigate unexpected challenges.

• Take charge of feature releases and provide nightly builds for the QA team.

• Participate in several technical interviews that are expected to be completed within one week.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering.

• Knowledge of Android components.

• Experience in developing or contributing to at least one Android application.

• Intuition for product design and a strong sense of user empathy.

• Motivation to advance the boundaries of Android UI/UX.

• Awareness of the significance of tests and the methodologies for writing them.

• Self-driven to enhance the app and codebase beyond the specifications provided.

• Solid expertise in Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Background Services, Music Player Service, Android Animations, Jetpack Navigation, and JUnit tests.

• Exceptional communication abilities.

• User-focused problem-solving mindset.

• Motivated by continuous feedback from leadership.
