This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the functional lead and solution architect for the implementation of Siemens Teamcenter PLM, overseeing the complete configuration and deployment process.
• Gather and document PLM requirements and specifications from functional users, engineering personnel, and subject matter experts.
• Review, assess, define, and document business functions and processes related to product data, documentation, configuration, and change management.
• Identify alternatives and propose enhancements or streamlined PLM business processes.
• Convert customer requirements into an optimal Teamcenter solution and create processes and documentation that support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Design and configure the Teamcenter data model, business objects, workflows, access rules, organizational structures, classification, and structure/BOM management.
• Set up and support change management, document management, and Active Workspace functionalities.
• Create and maintain business process workflows, Functional Requirements Documents, Requirement Traceability Matrix, and use cases.
• Define and support integrations of Teamcenter with CAD, ERP, and other enterprise systems.
• Organize and assist with data migration, functional testing, cutover, and go-live activities.
• Deliver post-implementation support and user training.
• Utilize PLM knowledge and industry best practices to formulate effective business processes and procedures.
• Meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced federal program environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related technical field.
• Over 8 years of experience in PLM or product data management.
• At least four years of functional experience in implementing and configuring Siemens Teamcenter.
• Experience in designing, configuring, implementing, testing, and deploying Siemens Teamcenter PLM.
• Hands-on expertise with Teamcenter data models/business objects (BMIDE), workflow designer, ACLs, organization, classification, and structure/BOM management.
• Experience configuring change management, document management, and Active Workspace.
• Experience in gathering requirements and converting them into a configured, optimal application solution that supports the full SDLC.
• Experience in integrating Teamcenter with CAD, ERP, and other enterprise systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, communication abilities, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as written, verbal, and listening skills.
• Capability to function effectively as a team player and adapt to a dynamic government-agency environment.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Experience with federal or Department of Defense clients is preferred.
• Experience integrating Teamcenter with CAD tools such as Siemens NX and/or ERP systems is preferred.
• Technical/administrative experience with Teamcenter is an advantage.
• Relevant Siemens Teamcenter certifications are desirable.
• Experience working with Agile development teams is preferred.
