This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Act as a reliable advisor for stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and the broader Teamcenter end-user community.

• Facilitate discussions on functional solution architecture and PLM strategy, promoting Siemens Xcelerator solutions.

• Demonstrate system functionalities and promote customer capabilities developed in the system to prospective stakeholders.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to comprehend, advise on, and document business requirements.

• Take responsibility for converting business requirements into scalable designs for Teamcenter solutions, including data models, workflows, lifecycle processes, and system integrations.

• Assess business and technical requirements for requested Teamcenter functionalities and provide effort estimations to aid in sprint planning and cost analysis.

• Create comprehensive end-to-end business processes that utilize the Siemens Xcelerator ecosystem, integrating Teamcenter with enterprise systems like ERP, MES, ALM, and supply chain platforms.

• Design and architect Teamcenter solution capabilities, including: BMIDE data model architecture and business object configuration strategies, server-side extensions using ITK handlers, exits, and custom services, SOA-based service architecture and orchestration patterns, workflow templates, enterprise process automation design, custom actions, configurable business rules, validation frameworks, reporting architectures, and data extraction/cleansing strategies.

• Execute thorough testing, encompassing unit, integration, and system testing to ensure application quality and functionality meet specifications.

• Assist development teams in troubleshooting and resolving intricate configuration or customization challenges.

• Produce functional architecture and solution design documentation, incorporating system workflows, process diagrams, and capability roadmaps.

• Collaborate closely with Teamcenter developers and engineers to oversee the implementation of customizations, ensuring alignment with architectural designs.

• Advocate for best practices in PLM usage and digital engineering processes, aiding organizations in maximizing the value of Teamcenter.

• Offer training and support to end-users regarding Teamcenter functionalities and best practices.

• Stay updated on Siemens Teamcenter and Siemens Xcelerator platform advancements, industry best practices, and digital engineering methodologies.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must currently possess Siemens certifications for Teamcenter.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or another engineering discipline.

• At least 5 years of experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM.

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in business process architecture, PLM consulting, or functional solution design.

• Experience collaborating with Siemens Technical Support and Siemens Government Technologies organizations.

• Strong knowledge of Teamcenter configuration and administration, including workflows, lifecycle management, and security models.

• Proficient programming skills in Java, JSP, J2EE, XML, JSON, and HTML5.

• Experience in developing Teamcenter Active Workspace or Rich Client extensions.

• Experience in supporting integrations between Teamcenter and external enterprise systems.

• Experience leading data migration and system transition projects.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and facilitation skills.

• Excellent documentation and solution architecture capabilities.

• Ability to guide and collaborate with development teams implementing Teamcenter customizations.

• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in Agile software development environments.

• Must hold an active U.S. national security clearance or be eligible to obtain and maintain one.
