This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Ensure that PerkinElmer and client QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) guidelines are understood and adhered to by field personnel.
• Optimize service schedules for field technicians as organized by the Client Manager(s).
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure the proper management of spare parts stock.
• Act as the technical authority for services provided on client equipment, offering technical advice, application support, failure-management strategies, and crisis management.
• Oversee the completion of planned services by technicians in accordance with established objectives.
• Ensure that teams document the services performed in PerkinElmer’s maintenance management system utilized at the client site and, if necessary, in the client’s own IT system.
• Supervise the accurate processing of billable services by the designated service(s).
• Contribute to the effective operational and financial management of relationships with external service providers and assist in their evaluation.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), recognize deviations, and formulate and execute necessary action plans.
• Assist in creating operational reports and communicating them to clients.
• Address all client complaints in accordance with internal guidelines.
• Suggest and implement procedures and processes aimed at continuously enhancing quality, cost-efficiency, and duration of interventions.
• Advocate for the advantages of the OneSource program to technical services, laboratory managers, and on-site users.
• Ensure the upkeep of PerkinElmer premises at client sites and generally maintain PerkinElmer’s reputation with clients.
• Serve as the primary liaison for the client’s technical contracting authority and organize and lead monthly meetings with them.
• Maintain regular communication with the business/sales team regarding leads, concerns, and challenging client situations, ensuring that technical teams escalate this information as needed.
• Report competitive insights and trends that could influence the Service OneSource growth strategy.
• Manage the contracted equipment base within your territory and ensure that the installed base is maintained year over year.
• Collaborate with site contacts on contract renewals.
• Participate in selling service contracts in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
• Execute a sales strategy for consumables, training, OQ (Operational Qualification), additional workstations, relocations, and other billable supplementary services.
• Diploma or degree equivalent to Bac+2 to Bac+5 in a scientific field such as chemistry/biology, physics, or electronics, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a laboratory setting and familiarity with relevant rules and procedures.
• Knowledge of equipment typically used in laboratories, including HPLC/GC, centrifuges, dissolution testers, temperature & humidity measurement devices, and PSM hoods (this list is not exhaustive).
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
